Homestead Stables is available for hosting your next event!
Our facility is set up with an assortment of features to suit a wide range
of needs. Whether it’s using our beautiful viewing room for a club
meeting or our large indoor and outdoor arenas for a horse show,
we have what you are looking for.
Our state-of-the-art facility can host a variety of events and is available for rent for various clinics and shows or even for just an hour to ride your horse in our large heated indoor arena. We have the ability to set up 20+ portable stalls in our smaller 80′ by 60′ indoor arena in addition to using any of the available stalls in our 41 stall main barn. Homestead Stables has bleachers and seating areas with a full occupancy rate of 472 people. You can enjoy the comfort of our beautiful viewing room with kitchenette or watch from our mezzanine viewing area. Parking space and RV hookups with dump station are available as well. For larger events, additional camping is available at the Gerry Rodeo grounds, less than one mile from our facility.
Some facility features include: Climate controlled throughout, 112′ by 219′ indoor arena, 80′ by 60′ indoor arena with round pen (or 20+ portable stall area), 100′ by 300′ outdoor arena, 2 indoor wash bays, on-site security, mezzanine viewing area, large viewing room with fireplace, kitchenette, restrooms with showers, and seating around the arena. 1 Partial access gives you full use of the arena but not sole access; there may be boarders and lessons going on at that time. Private access gives you full use of the arena without anyone else using the arena; the arena will be closed down for that allotted time.
2 Riders must be participating in our lesson program to be eligible for horse rental.
3 Rental fee drops to $15/hour for 4H & IEA members. Rental fee drops to $50 if you are currently leasing the horse full time.
* Must have proof of $1 million insurance policy for certain rental agreements. Inquire with barn manager for details.
Birthday Parties
Book your child’s next birthday party with us! We offer two different packages to suit your needs and your pocketbook. Our Full Access package includes horseback riding for up to ten kids ($10 for each additional child or $5 if not riding) and facility access for up to four hours. Our Partial Access package includes horse activities (not on horseback) and facility access for up to four hours. Both packages include the use of our kitchenette, restrooms, viewing room, and staff services. The responsible party is in charge of decorations, food, refreshments, and clean up.
