Jack & Emma Minteer Bio
After a bull riding career of over thirty years, Jack now competes in Reined Cow Horse events. He is a second generation trainer who uses the same training principles as his father, Dave Minteer. Jack and his family represent over 100 years of training experience. Emma’s passion for horses started at an early age and by the time she was 15, she was already starting colts. She became involved with the Extreme Mustang Makeover in 2012 and has since trained four mustangs through the EMM, making the top ten finals in all four competitions. The Minteers are very involved with the Extreme Mustang Makeover, working together with the Mustang Heritage Foundation in creating more awareness and adoptions for America’s Mustangs. In addition to working with mustangs, Jack and Emma work with problem horses and start horses for all disciplines.
